As a former computer science teacher, I remember fixing a lot of devices, for students and teachers alike. What astonished me the most was the pure panic that these individuals felt when their specific device was no longer accessible or functioning. The tears, the profanity and overall frustration was SO apparent. Now, don’t get me wrong, I have fallen victim to this as well; I understand the importance of my phone or my laptop. Long gone are the days that technology was “just” a tool, its integration is undeniable.
